I stayed in a room with a double bed and a private bathroom with a lock on the door, and this was one of the most spacious and comfortable hostel rooms I’ve stayed in while in South Korea! While I was traveling with only a backpack, this is a room where you could probably open a suitcase in. They allowed me to check in a little earlier since the room for my two night stay was cleaned already. The owner was exceptionally kind. His English is very good, and when he figured out I could understand Korean, we had a really lovely conversation where he recommended me delicious restaurants all over Jeonju and where I could get a discount by showing the hostel’s business card. The bean sprout soup and bimbimbap places he recommended were some of the most delicious food I’ve had on my trip so far! The room itself came with a television, mini fridge, ample towels, bottled water, a hairdryer, and basic bathroom amenities like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrush, toothpaste. AC worked great in the hot South Korean summer. Simple complimentary breakfast of toast and eggs (you fry them yourself with the provided pans and oil), coffee and juice. This all came at a great, affordable price!

Our host was most impressive. Friendly and helpful. Quietly available to assist guests with local knowledge, navigating Korean life with ease (apps, buses, trains, taxis, directions). Guests are invited to enjoy eggs, toast, tea and coffee, and orange juice for breakfast. It is a lovely way to start the day and chat with other guests. Check-in - Our host accommodated our late arrival. The location is perfect. Quiet, close to main attractions, lots to explore on your doorstep. The room was small but clean and comfortable. Bed was also comfortable. We would definitely stay again. The guesthouse has a homely, welcoming feel.

Comfy bed and very cosy. Great shower pressure and spotlessly clean everywhere. Quiet a night. 10 min walk to Hanok village, 15 min drive away from train station or 5 mins away from the bus terminal. Breakfast was fine, you could help yourself to tea and coffee, eggs and toast with butter and jam. Definitely saves you having to go out and find something for breakfast. Close to 7 eleven and a big supermarket called Homeplus. We stayed 2 nights and thought this was a great amount of time!

Charming and clean hostel, a home away from home. We loved everything about this place, especially the early check-in, well equipped kitchen, laundry facilities and breakfast. The kind owner is welcoming and helpful with directions. There are convenience stores and good local eateries nearby which you can search on Kakao or Naver. Better than a hotel stay which can be impersonal.

The owner was super friendly and gave recommendations where to go eat and what to see. the room had everything one needs, the bathroom was pretty clean, and the free breakfast was pretty good and handy. Location was also great as it was close to the hanok village, to the main road and the supermarket. I guess it was everything you might want from a hostel.
